This non‑therapeutic biosimilar antibody uses the same variable regions as the therapeutic antibody Ofatumumab, making it ideal for research use. Ofatumumab is a fully human IgG1 monoclonal antibody that specifically targets CD20, a B cell surface antigen expressed from the pre‑B to mature B cell stage but not on plasma cells. CD20 plays a critical role in B cell development, activation, and proliferation. By binding to a unique membrane‑proximal epitope on CD20, Ofatumumab induces B cell depletion through complement‑dependent cytotoxicity (CDC) and antibody‑dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). This Ofatumumab biosimilar is well suited for studying B cell–mediated diseases, CD20 biology, and the immunologic mechanisms of B cell depletion in autoimmune disease and cancer.参数
