This biosimilar Bexmarilimab antibody uses the same variable regions as the therapeutic antibody Bexmarilimab, making it ideal for research use. Bexmarilimab is a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody that targets Clever-1 (also known as Stabilin-1; STAB1), a scavenger receptor expressed on immunosuppressive myeloid cells including circulating monocytes and tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs), as well as on subsets of vascular and sinusoidal endothelium. Clever-1 contributes to immune suppression by promoting scavenging and endocytic programs that can dampen inflammatory activation and antigen presentation. By binding and blocking Clever-1, Bexmarilimab is designed to reprogram macrophages toward a more pro-inflammatory, immune-stimulatory phenotype, enhancing antigen presentation and supporting T-cell activation within the tumor microenvironment. Clinically, Bexmarilimab has been investigated in both solid tumors and hematologic malignancies as a macrophage-reprogramming immunotherapy, including in combination regimens. This Bexmarilimab biosimilar is well suited for studying Clever-1/STAB1 biology, macrophage polarization and antigen presentation, tumor-associated inflammation, immune suppression in the tumor microenvironment, and for benchmarking the therapeutic antibody’s mechanism of action in pre-clinical experimental systems.参数
